  • Day #1: A transfer from either a Hotel in Entebbe or upon early arrival at the airport, you’ll take a chartered flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

The chartered flight will expose you to very beautiful views of several hills that transform into highlands as you’re getting closer to Forest Park. To Kayonza or Kihiihi airfield for gorilla trekking in either Buhoma or Ruhija sectors lasts about 1 hour.   • Day #2: A Mountain Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest Park lasts about 2-4 hours and a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas.

After your early morning breakfast, you’ll drive to the Forest Park headquarters for a short briefing on the rules and regulations for Gorilla trekking in Uganda.

In the briefing, a total of 8 tourists are assigned a single gorilla family matching their hiking ability. The trek commences with each group being chaperoned by a park ranger talking about gorillas during your search for gorillas in the Forest. The trek lasts about 2-4 hours but it all depends on where the gorillas spent the previous night.

Upon sighting the gentle giants, a maximum of 1 hour is given in the presence of the gorillas for photography and memorable moments. After the encounter with the gorillas, you’ll return to the park headquarters and you’ll receive a trekking certificate. You’ll drive to your lodge for refreshment and relaxation.
