Detailed Itinerary: 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari
Day #1: Transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Pick up at 0730hrs from the airport or hotel and depart to Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival at Maasai Mara, check in for lunch and have an afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara is known for its vast plains and the concentration of different wildlife that includes the Big cats.
The Reserve hosts the largest wildlife migration of Millions of Wildebeest migrating from the Serengeti ecosystem using the Mara River. The migration in Maasai Mara National Reserve takes place in the month of July to Early October.
Day #2 & 3: Game Drives in Maasai Mara National Reserve & Wildebeest migration experience
Spend 2 full days game driving on the dotted grassland and rolling hills of Maasai Mara. Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of wildlife, black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, the great migration of wildebeest and zebras, and also numerous elephants and many other wildlife forms. Enjoy the famous Maasai Mara for two full days, where you’ll have a chance of sighting dramatic prey chasing from predators and crossing of the treacherous river Mara feasted with crocodiles during the wildebeest migration.
Day #4: Transfer from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Lake Naivasha
After your early breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, have lunch at the camp and a short siesta rest by the pool. In the late afternoon, you’ll have an optional boat ride around the Lake and visit the crescent island.

Day #5: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Have a morning hot breakfast as you check out. And then depart from Lake Naivasha driving slowly through the tropical highlands arriving at Thompsons Falls and Panari resort in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at the booked camp.
Day #6: Mount Kenya
Morning and Afternoon game drive in Mount Kenya Park.

Day #7: Transfer from Mount Kenya to Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, check out of the camp with a game drive brunch off to Aberdare National Park. Upon arrival at Aberdare national park, check-in, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive until evening.

Day #8: Transfer from Aberdare National Park to Amboseli National Park
You’ll depart early after your breakfast for a long drive to Amboseli National Park. Lunch en route will be at a restaurant situated along Mombasa Road. Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, you’ll start with a game drive and later check in to your camp.
Dinner and Overnight at the booked camp or lodge.
Day #9: Game drives in Amboseli National Park
Full-day game drives customized with a picnic lunch in the wild. Enjoy the extensive game drives within the National Park exploring distinct wildlife species. The observation hill creates a unique view spot for observing elephants and buffaloes enjoying the muddy area next to the swamp. Be conscious of the evening hours as it is a great time to have the best view of Mountain Kilimanjaro when the clouds clear.
Day #10: Transfer from Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park
Early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge or camp. Have a morning game drive before the transfer to Tsavo West National Park. You’ll enter Tsavo West National Park using the Chyulu gate which has the best magical view of Shetani Lava and the volcanic hills of Chyulu.
You’ll have lunch at your camp or lodge. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the National Park and also visit the Mzima Spring and the rhino sanctuary.
Day #11: Drive from Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
Early morning drive at 0800hrs departing for Tsavo East National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and the renowned “man-eating” lions. You’ll then arrive at your lodge or camp, check-in and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll have a game drive in the Park and also visit the Aruba Dam.
Day #12: Transfer from Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa
An early morning game drive to further explore the great National Park. Tsavo East National Park also has a large number of birds with over 500 species. After the game drive, depart for Mombasa or Nairobi.
This safari can end in Mombasa or Nairobi basing on your choice. You can proceed to Mombasa to relax on the beach.
