Day #1: Transfer from Kampala, a brief stop at the equator line and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park and an afternoon boat cruise.
From your hotel in Kampala or Airport, our Uganda safari guide will pick you up for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After nearly 80 Km you’ll make your first stop at the equator line in Kayabwe for photography. You’ll then continue with the drive to the park. You’ll have lunch en route in Mbarara then continue with the drive to the park. On arrival at the park, head to the Kazinga channel for your 3:00 pm boat cruise.
This is a great chance of sighting several aquatic species like crocodiles and hippos alongside other wildlife and bird species on the channel. After the boat cruise, you can take a short game drive. In the late afternoon, head to your booked accommodation facility, check-in, have dinner and rest.
