Day #1: Early Morning Transfer from Kigali Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your breakfast in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or lodge in Kigali for your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive takes you through the phenomenal scenery of the Virunga ranges for about 4-5 hours. Arriving in the afternoon, you check in, have dinner, relax and spend the night at the booked accommodation facility.

3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
  • Day #2: Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest Park goes for about 2-4 hours and a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas.

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to the park headquarters for a short briefing on the rules and regulations for trekking gorillas in Uganda.

In the briefing, a total of 8 tourists are assigned a single gorilla family matching their hiking ability. The trek starts with each group being chaperoned by a park ranger talking to you about the gorillas while searching for them. The search lasts about 2-4 hours but the time of the trek depends on where the gorillas spent the previous night.

Upon sighting the gorillas, a maximum of 1 hour is given while in the presence of the gentle giants for photography and memorable moments.

After the 60 minutes, you’ll return to the park headquarters where you’ll receive a trekking certificate. Your driver guide will ensure a safe transfer back to your lodge for relaxing and refreshing.
